Dr. Shannon Hudson

Dr. Shannon Hudson was born in Lafayette, Indiana and grew up in Camden, South Carolina and southeastern Texas.

Dr. Hudson received his undergraduate education with a major in Zoology at Texas A&M from 1990-1991 and The Ohio State University from 1991-1993. He then attended The Ohio State University School of Dentistry and received his DDS in 1997 while receiving the distinguished award for Implantology from the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Dr. Hudson then attended Commission Officer Training in the United States Air Force at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama where he received the honor of distinguished graduate. He then went on to complete his residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at Wright Patterson Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio from 1997-1998. Dr. Hudson served as a Captain in the United States Air Force from 1997-2000.

In 2007 Dr. Hudson completed the year long Maxi Course in Implantology Residency at NYU in New York City. He is constantly increasing his knowledge by attending numerous continuing education courses to stay on the cutting edge of the latest advancements in dentistry. Dr Hudson joined the Pelham Links team in June 2000, where he has been a partner for 20 years. He is an active member of the ADA (American Dental Association), AAID (American Academy of Implant Dentistry), ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantology)and the AGD (Academy of General Dentistry).

Dr. Hudson and his family currently live in Simpsonville, SC. He and his wife have been married for 25 years and they have 3 beautiful children. He is an active member at First Baptist Church of Simpsonville. He enjoys giving back to the community by donating time to the Greenville Free Medical Clinic, as well as helping lead international mission trips around the world including locations such as Honduras, Ecuador, South Central Mexico, and Costa Rica.

Dr. Hudson is an avid college football and basketball fan. He also enjoys singing with his church, working out and sports such as boating, fishing and golf.

Dr. Nate Calvert

Dr. Nate Calvert, a proud native of Fountain Inn, grew up immersed in our close-knit community and continues to be an active member of the Simpsonville First Baptist Church. After completing his education, he happily returned to his roots, eager to live and practice dentistry in the very community that shaped him. Driven by a genuine passion for dentistry, he takes great pleasure in treating familiar faces and getting to know new ones - striving to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for all.Dr. Calvert especially enjoys the positive impact he can have on children's oral health, creating healthy habits and smiles to last a lifetime. His ability to make patients feel at ease and confident in their smiles aligns with our mission to serve our patients with the highest standards of care.Beyond the dental office, Dr. Calvert leads an active lifestyle, with an interest in running, hunting, fishing, and playing all types of sports, including participating in a recreational basketball league. A passionate supporter of the Atlanta Braves, he proudly claims the title of the biggest Braves fan you've ever met!

Deeply committed to giving back, Dr. Calvert has embarked on numerous mission trips to countries like Ecuador and the Dominican Republic, with plans for more in the future. Locally, he actively engages with free dental clinics and generously volunteers his time and skills to serve those in need.

Dr. Calvert's educational journey began at Anderson University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry. He then went on to earn his Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry from the prestigious Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). Throughout his academic pursuits, he displayed exceptional leadership skills, serving as the President of Baptist Collegiate Ministries and later as the Class President of MUSC CDM 2023.

Dr. Zarmina Hussain

Dr. Zarmina Hussain received her Doctor of Dental Surgery atthe prestigious University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. Prior to herDDS, Dr. Hussain went to graduate school in Long Island, NY where she got aMasters in Public Health from Stony Brook University School of Health Sciences. She has worked in Greenville SC as afull time dentist for the past ten years and calls it home. Dr. Hussain’s corebelief is to practice honest ethical dentistry.  Her favorite part of being a dentist, isforming a lasting bond of mutual respect and trust with her patients. Dr.Hussain is a member of the American Dental Association and the South Carolina DentalAssociation. She actively pursues continuing education to stay on the cuttingedge of dentistry and provide the best care for her patients.

Dr. Hussain moved to Greenville in 2014 when she married her soul mate, Dr. Jabran Hussain, an upstate native. They are blessed with three incredible girls. Dr. Hussain and her husband love the great outdoors, travelling and spending time with friends and family.
